Back to the drawing board

I haven't posted on here for a very long time.
I fell out of love with dolling, and just kind of gave up.
But recently I've started again, and thought I'd post my dolls!
I draw all my dolls in MS Paint, I like the simplicity of the tools. Some minor editing (like the background on the second doll) is done with photoshop.

This doll hasn't got a name, or any real purpose... She just came from messing around. I have about 8 different versions of her, with different tights/hairstyles etc. This is just my favourite.
Base by: ~Fainelloth Dolls~

This doll is based on Katniss Everdeen, a character from The Hunger Games novels.

Welcome back! I love your Katniss Everdeen doll, the shading is really quite well done for a beginner, The 2nd doll is tool shaded which looks great when done properly but yours looks a little pillow shaded, the fist style of shading suits you better, keep up the good work! and please feel free to enter any of the handrawn contests that are running at any time.

Very nice. The top girl looks like she should be a Marvel/DC superhero or something.

I use paint as well, but I find it easier to do use smaller bases and it also takes less time. I find a program like Gimp to be very complicated and that is one of the reasons why I've stuck with paint.
