I have an idea for the contest! But does anyone know where I can find a medium or smaller sized base of a doll that is running? I found a bigger one of DA but I think it is to big...

Base & CC Please!

This is Zoey the Papillon. Her mother got her all fancied up for her best friends Butterfly Birthday Bash! Zoey is super excited to go to the party, and you can see she's just quivering with anticipation, lol.

Okay, a Papillon is a toy dog breed known for their small stature and signature butterfly shaped ears.
They. Are. Gorgeous.
They come in a variety of colors, but my favorite is the White and Red Sable, see Emma's pictures.

There are a few things I'd like to point out. Firstly, all the colors I used (minus the butterfly colors). They are the colors of the White and Red Sable Papillon. They have white bodies with red and black spots (thus the white shirt/socks and black skirt/shoes) The hair is reddish-brown, and tipped with black, just like their ears. Papillons have only brown doey eyes. Also, I included face paint for a reason: Papillons are known for their mask.

Also, I was making a reference to the personality of a Papillon as well. They are VERY loving and excited creatures. What could be more loving and excited than a little girl, all glammed up and ready to party?

Omg, so sorry for the extended absence. I moved about a week ago and I'm finally getting settled. I also gave my brother my old computer (since I got a new laptop for my birthday a couple weeks ago), so I had to spend some time transferring files.

I never got time to work on awards, but here's the order:

1st - Aussiemum: I loved the posh poodle - you really did what the contest asked and used the poodle and it's personality as inspiration. =)
2nd - LancasterPrincess: I like that you used the name of the dog as your inspiration. I wish I saw more of the body, but that's more a nitpick on the pose you chose, not the doll itself.
3rd Miranda and Owl: You both did well, but maybe a greyhound isn't the most inspiring? I like greyhounds, I do, but they don't have the same quirks the other two had. Owl, other than the fact that it's running, I don't see a connection to a greyhound. And Miranda, I feel yours would have been better if it was doing an action, like running. If I could mix the two together, you guys would have had a great doll. =P
