This was incredibly tough - the closest I've ever judged, that's for sure. Congrats to all participants - I wish I could give you all first place. You guys really stepped it up!


1st: Miranda_ : Great work! It's definitely the most detailed doll you've ever made, and I can see the work you put in to it. Very well done!

2nd LancasterPrincess: Good job! The fur looks soooooo fuzzy, and those streaks are perfect. I had such a hard time choosing, and the fact that you're always so good worked against you because I thought it was important to mix things up as far as winners go.

3rd Erivitale : Your doll is very true to the character, and is amazing for someone without as much experience. I just wish it was shaded a little more. The details and lineart of it are amazing though!


Sorry about no rewards - it''s half because I'm lazy, and half because I've had a busy week. xD

The next contest will be an old favourite. XD Basically, you make a doll on this base here: Eva Base by ~Jishin on deviantART You can edit skin colour if you want, or add tails etc; just make sure that the base is the one from the link only.

The doll you make can be of anything, of any person or theme you like. However, here's the kicker; the doll MUST have at least three items off the following list:

* Unusually coloured hair (ie not blonde, brown etc but green, blue etc)

* Stripy stockings

* Cat ears and tail

* A patterned shirt

* Long boots

* Hair bows

* A pet

* Gloves

* Arm warmers/sleeves

* Platform boots/very high heels

You don't have to choose only three; you can choose as many features off the list as you like. The end date is December 10th. If after that you need a few extra days to finish your doll, post in the thread or PM me.

EDIT: SHOOT, I totally didn't see it had to be on a specific base. Oh well, guess I'll enter the next contest. Already made a doll using these specifics and I'm not inspired to do 2 of the same thing.
