Making a base for the handdrawn contest... here's the WIP for that (it's mostly done - just gonna add a couple more poses & skintones) and the first pose of that other base I was working on:

It's Black Canary! Base ish mine. >=) It's supposed to look like a chibi doll. I'm really happy with her. I don't know if I've ever done a jacket (if I have, I don't think I was successful xD) and it turned out amazing.

Very nice. I love her hair. And the base looks great. The jacket is pretty amazing. I love the tiny feet in contrast with the big hips and giant head, very nice.

My own base. Myself as a VAMPIRE for Halloween.... I vant to suck your blood! >=) The costume isn't supposed to look super realistic because it's a costume and costumes are not 100% real. The cape is not flow-y, but relatively structured, and the blood isn't exactly perfect, but I didn't want it to be.

I love this doll. Even the hair without 2nd highlights, I don't think I could ever pull that off, lol.

I think my favorite part is the teeth though, they look fantastic, it's amazing how much detail you were able to cram into just a few pixels.

The only CC I could have is really more opinion. The bat outline distracted me, but other than that!

Yeah, I don't like the bat either, but I felt it needed something. Now though, I hate it. xD

The final product should be ready by Sunday at the latest. I want to try and fix the dress a little and add more shading to the lace. I also have to play around with the shoes because they aren't completely shaded the way I want. The collab version will also have not say Catwoman, I just felt like adding that because I might keep it for the version I post on dA.

Catwoman was my inspiration, shown by using leather and lace. I also added her whip, and strong makeup (instead of a mask). Her hair band has cat ears on it, but it's hardly noticeable, so I may play with that as well.

EDIT:

Edited version shows darkened red in hair, shaded lace, slight makeup change, a shade darker shoes, and more prominent pantyhose. I acturally didn't change the dress shading, because it was such a hassle in the original. xD

i really really like this =] but yeah the cat ears aren't noticeable at all... it looks like catwoman without them, but if you wanted cat ears i'd say make them more prominent. bravo!

Posted updated Catwoman (post above), as well as posted some palettes in my tutorial thread. The palettes are allowed to be used by everyone, and if you have any more questions/comments about them, post it in my tutorials thread.

I really loved your doll! The scrunch-style dress and lace/fishnets are awesome! My only CC is that other than the whip, I really couldn't tell it was catwoman. I guess that's because I'm old-school though, I loved the white stitched catwoman suit best. I'm guessing you're going for the Haley Barry version?
