I plan on entering this one! Though I have A TON of favorites...it'll be hard to narrow it down, lol.

...Can we doll them IN their role? (As long as it's human)

Yes, You may draw them in their respective roles, just make sure that your Movie star is easily identifiable and clearly named.

Lovie, let me know when you have nearly finished your entry and depending on the number of entrants I have then I might let you do another one, If I was inundated with entries then of course I would let you do two, but I want to keep it as fair as possible.
I cant wait to see what you come up with

This is obviously Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter. I've chosen to doll him in his 7th book form to celebrate the fast approaching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, coming out next weekend don't chya know!

I actually have SEVERAL favorite movie stars, but I chose Daniel by letting my Club members decide for me via teaser descriptions. Daniels' teaser description was:

I've always loved this person and their story in this
film. This movie is another all-time fave. It features
magical adventures, love, loss, and so much more!

I've been a dork all my life thanks to the HP series. I had my nose in these books for as long as I can remember and have read the series too many times to count. I have laughed and cried often alonside these characters for years and have a deep appreciation for the heartaches and trials of Harry in particular.

I was one of those nerds who cried when book 7 came out, and will likely cry when the second part of Deathly Hallows comes out...probably harder since when the book ended I still had the movies to look forward too! By next year I'll have nothing to live for...nothing I tell you!

Fun quote from me to hubby...whenever the occasion arises:

First of all i would like to say that I am disappointed in the number of entries, I know people are busy but the dollmaker & Handrawn contests seem to be going down hill at a great rate.

I would like to announce that 1st place is awarded to Miranda for her stunning version of Audrey Hepburn.
2nd place is awarded to Lovie for her creative version of Harry potter's Daniel Radcliffe, Well done to both participants, Awards will be posted soon.

OK, I've decided on a theme, and the theme is Christmas. Basically, make a Christmassy doll, in any shape or form, to celebrate the season.

Rules:

1. No animation or glitter.
2. Make sure your doll has at least three of the following:

Stripy stockings
Unusually coloured hair
A pet
A Santa hat
A gift wrapped present
A snowy background
A scarf
Gloves
Long boots

3. Any base goes. You can choose whichever one you fancy for this contest.


The end date will be December 23rd, to give you plenty of time to make your dolls. Understand that it won't necessarily be the best pixeled doll that wins; if someone comes up with a fantastic idea for a Christmas themed doll then that might win purely due to its originality and best use of the theme. So I'd like everyone to enter, please.

I'm going to try my very very very hardest to enter in this contest. I got hit in the face with a sudden longing to doll and I must fulfill it or I might explode. This at least:
a. holds me accountable
b. gives me a specific guideline
c. gives me a personal excuse not to do homework
