Hmm, while I simply adore seeing things glitter through animation, I've had to learn to adapt to the Hand Drawn ethics that glitter takes away from the talent and detailing that goes into drawing. It's certainly a challenging task to create a glitter effect without animation, I've done it using many methods. That being so, I can appreciate the effort that goes into still-glitter hugely and am too excited to see another member's take on the still-glitter task. Ima have to say: Try to make the sparkliest details you can in still-motion please! You're way more talented than me, I'm excited to see how well you do.

You're too kind. Okay, I'll certainly try. ^^ I want a large-ish base, anyways; the detailing to the face sounds so fun. Now, to clarify on the 'dividing details', would my doll have to have both the purple eyeshadow and the glitter, or can I do one or the other? This question is importand because it will determin how large my base needs to be.

That would depend largely on which 3 closely related details you wish to project? From the mask you chose I can see several options, so you're in luck there! I'm guessing that the purple eyeshadow will be accommodated with the makeup in general? (Since I think purple eyeshadow alone might be stretching the divinding line)

So you could choose any 3, obviously you may find more than me as I'm replying on a phone xD:
Makeup (Dramatic Purple on White)
Gold Glitter Detail (Face/Body)
Gold Glitter Detail (Outfit/Accessories)
Purple Satin (At least I think it's satin) Clothes
Purple Rossetes
Mask On Face (Or used as an accessory)
Etc.

I just discovered that feathers are fun (If time consuming) to pixel. I've adapted a method I used on hair a loooong time ago and applied it to feathers; I find it looks rather nice. I might post a few examples once I'm finished with the doll.
