Haha,I realize it sucks.
I just really don't under stand shading

Have you tried looking at tutorials? They'll teach you the basics of outlining and shading.
KawaiiHannah : Pixel Tutorials, Folds Tutorial, Doll Base Tutorial Kawaii Hannah gives you a nice idea of the basics to pixeling, like clean lines and such. ^^

Watermelon Bubblegum Another good site for the basics. Watermelon is a little wordy, though; be prepared to read a paragraph or so.

T h e ** D o l l e r y **** The Dollery has some nice specialised tuts, though some of them includ graphics that MS Paint can't do, though they're still a help with how some tihngs should look.

And there ar emany more tuts to be found! A lot of base sites provide them, actually. While just learning shading, it doen'st mater if you don't have your own shading style yet; you'll develop that as you get better.

Not to toot my own horn, but I have some palettes on my site, too. (The link is in my siggy). Sadly, no new tutorials yet. Those will come - and hopefully soon.

The shape of the shirt is actually not bad. And solid colouring is actually, in my opinion, a better start then shading to the base/pillow shading. Sometimes those are hard habits to get out of. *always colour the space in with a solid colour before shading. That keeps you away from those kind of mistakes. ^^

Thx hayley.and about the palettes uh..I don't understand how to get them on the program im using.in this case im using as3,and not MSpaint,bcause,its easier to see more colors.

OH. See, that's a bit of a problem. MS Paint is so much easier to understand. I don't know how as3 works or anything, so I can't be of much help. Sorry. Most tutorials work with Paint, that's all I know.

The tut from Kawaii Hannah in the links I posted above give some tips on Paint. I might be able to help you with the as3 problem, but I'll have to look the program up and see how similar or dissimilar it is to my own program.

I don't much like MS either; never fiddled with it much, so I'm not very familiar with it, whereas whit my other program, I know where everything is.
