this is my latest doll that i made for and opposites attract contest. i dint really like the shirt because the shading is really bad,and every time i try to follow a tut it still comes out bad. to me the tuts are too hard to understand. but the hair is just awesome!

You forgot base credit, but don't worry, its a common mistake.

Anyway, it looks like the whole doll in general has really improved! Good job! ^^

Dolling is PP, practice and patience. If you have both you will improve. If you spend a couple of hours on each doll, the results will be worth it. Keep trying at the tutorials, the result won't look as good the first time. Remember practice and patience :3

my mistake!


this doll i've been working on for a while now i just hadn't finished it yet. i think the reason that the opposite doll had bad shading on the shirt was A: im not that god of a shader, and B: i was rushing. The contest deadline was today and i had to enter it by yesterday and i only spent like 45 minuets doing it . it took me so long to enter the entry because i was looking for the right base and couldn't find one! anyway it got entered but it probably wont win. oh well! good practice.

I have finally finished a new doll! well........ more like four new dolls! i did for dolls for the 4 seasons. i like all of them but i really like the last one.... winter.

The top of head looks too flat in the third one, but in the winter doll is good. I like the shading on the beach ball.

I've just finished a new one. its a girl who ate too many carrots. i think it turned out pretty good. and yes the hair is stringy. i made it that way because the its the top of the carrot.
