My dolls
![]() tell me how it looks. If I need room for improvement, please tell me. |
Firstly, you need to provide base credit. Second, you should always save dolls in png, cuz of the dreaded gif and jpg monsters that cause the less than clean outlines and colours.
Now, for CC on the actual doll. You've fallen into the trap and made the mistake that many first time dollers make; pillowshading. You also need to make the clothes stand out from the base more, and add wrinkling. A side on base is difficult for that; better to use face on bases, like the ones found here: If Looks Could Kill... t e m p A site with great, easy to follow tutorials for first time dollers is this one here: Watermelon Bubblegum I'd recommend the Full Doll Tutorial, as it covers everything you need to know, from hair to shoes. ^^ I hope to see more of your work in the future. |

>.< Its not hard, just at the end of the file name write ".png" ._. Otherwise your picture comes out in horrible quality. Your using paint I am guessing? |
yup that is right you need to save in png it helps
i can see what u did on the black dress for the third doll you shaded along the base don`t do that it just doesn't look nice but grat dolls though the one in the middle looks like Avril Lavigne almost forgot where is the base credit. |
I don't think you actually listened to Miranda's CC.
You're shading along the base. Simply re-colouring the base does not look good. Check out some tutorials like Miranda said. And do NOT forget base credit next time. You need an actual link to the site where you got the base from. Read the rules of this forum, please: http://www.thedollpalace.com/forum/h...-everyone.html Do not save them in that kind of file, either. I save all mine in .gif, because that's what they turn into after I add transparency. .png is probably safer, though. CC on the clothing shape: Do not use straight lines so often. It looks choppy if it the doll isn't shaded right. And do not draw along the base. Clothes have folds, and usually aren't painted onto your body. |
well, on a lighter note, i think its really good:razz:
|
I made that a while ago.
![]() I got the base from DHF : Doll on the Hill Factory I kinda *****ed up on the shoes. |
