Oooohhh. The Miss TDP doll's hair is sooo shiny ^^ And the dress o.o If it were orange and blue I'd buy it in a heart beat ;D The little dollie is adorable, but it's hair doesn't seem to have any shading .-. I know that's really hard to do on small bases like that o.O Almost impossible actually! And on the Kylie and Nate doll, I can't see a lot of shading on her skirt and his pants o-o' Just the black, then the dark blue. Other than that your dolls are all AMAZING!

I needed a more contrast-y black palete, thats probably why. xD

I don't know exactly why, but the dress looks kinda stiff to me. Also, the sash-waist-thing doesn't look so smooth, you know what I mean? The lines are a bit jagged, and it looks painted to the dress, almost. Is it supposed to be part of the dress, or another piece of fabric drapped over the dress (like a belt or a sash). The hair's cute though. ^^

The second one is adorable. xD I know how you feel. Commercials drive me crazy. "Do you ever think about losing weight? Have you tried to get thinner? Swimsuit season is coming, time to tone those legs!" NO. F--- you, TV. You need to tone your non-existant legs, you talking box. XD

Hahah yeah, on YouTube, they were always there, so I saw it as inspiration.

It should probably be more rounded, then. They aren't generally diagonal, are they? I dunno, play around with it a bit. You don't have to, it doesn't matter. xD

NEW DOLL!

This is my entry for the Miss TDP Handdrawn Competition Round 1.


Name: Tiffany
Character: Alice from Alice in Wonderland
Base: *DEAC loves you.

Sh has light blonde, almost white hair like Alice does in the Disney movie, and instead of a headband, I put a bow on the top of her head. Instead of a dress with and apron, I made a vneck with a vest. For her tights, I did some light blue jeans, and her black choes were black ballet flats. The jeans turned out kind of funny looking, but I have avoided dolling jeans for such a long time.

The shirt came out pretty nice. Since you know the jeans are funny, I won't say anything more.

The bow should have lighter highlights, as it looks unshaded in her platinum-ish hair.

I always love the hair you do. I love love love it! Anyway about the alice doll, I really like the top but I would probably make colour 2 on the palette a little lighter. That's probably just me being weird though.

Yeah I think I just need a more contrast-y black and platnium blonde, and maybe a less contrast-y blue. ;D
