Okay, nevermind; I'm not going to enter this one. I just can't bring myself to remake any dolls.

I KNOW THE PIECES FIT, CAUSE I WATCHED THEM FALL AWAY, MILDEWED AND SMOLDERING.
FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERING, PURE INTENTION JUXTAPOSED WILL SET TWO LOVERS' SOULS IN MOTION.
DISINTEGRATING AS IT GOES, TESTING OUR COMMNICATION.
THE LIGHT THAT FUELED OUR FIRE THEN HAS BURNED A HOLE BETWEEN US SO WE CANNOT SEE TO REACH AN END...

I know exactly which one I am doing. OMG! Is is horrible.

Like... colour schemes :S

Do the dolls' resemblence need to be very... noticable?

You can change some minor things such as colors or lengths to make the new one better, but it should look a lot similar to the original. After all, you are remaking an old doll, not inspiring a new doll of an old one. :P

I might redo my first doll.

It was of Starfire from a TV show called Teen Titans. I was young when I started dolling. xD I'm almost embarassed. xDDD

well here goes. it is suppost to be my friend Christy, but then she cut her hair, hence the height difference. This was one of my very first dolls that I made, and I was a somewhat of a pillow shader. well enjoy:
