I was really impressed with the horse! Simply awestruck at your daring! That's the best part about Hand Drawn dolls, IMO, is that there are no restrictions!

To add to all the CC you already got, Maybe try shading the pattern to match the shading of the clothes. Though you may have done that already, it's hard to tell, but if you did, maybe more drastically shading it?

I did shade it; guess it was too subtle. XD Next time, I'll use a more contrasting base.

Mermaid doll for Lovie's contest.

I really love the shading on those fins at the end!

And the hair is a lot better this time, lol. ^^

I love the colors you chose! And I'm curious, is this your first mermaid? If so, WOW!

CC for the mermaid's hair: strands coming away from the rest should be a few shades lighter than the rest. I'm tempted to say the hairline should be lower, but where you've placed it actually suits the doll grand.

Also, the fins are BEAST! (As in awesome.)

Yeah, it's my first mermaid. Hair I always have trouble with, but it's not that bad this time. XD

It's good, and I have some CC for you. =)

You should shade the pattern. Where it's lightest, the pattern should also be lighter. Currently the pattern is all the same colour of the outline. I do it in a kinda complex way, but I'll try to explain. What I do is copy the desired area and recolour it in the colour you want the pattern to be (if it's just a darker version of the same colour, move all palette shades down one). Create the pattern in a colour you haven't used on a white background and, using transparency, place it on top of the one you want as your base colour. Change the pattern colour to white, and finally, using transparency again, place that copy over the version you shaded with your "pattern" colour. Viola! It sounds difficult, but it's really not. On a larger scale, it's definitely easier than colouring the patter pixel-by-pixel.

I like the colour scheme. I was going to do a similar one for mine, but you posted first. =P

Kudos on the mermaid doll Miranda! I really like how you did the tail, and the colors you chose. I'm impressed that you drew lines correctly on the fins as well, I'm sure quite a few people who have used that base drew stripes instead, so KUDOS for wrapping around the fin.
