Where did that hair come from? It looks amazing, huge jump in improvement from your last doll!

My CC of the day would be to dither. You shaded with the skin because its clingy and dithering between each shade would've made it a lot smoother when changing from shade to shade, as well as smoothing some of the more rougher looking lines(well, dithering would've helped to accomplish both of these purposes).

I have no idea how I managed that hair; it took me ages and even then, I didn't think I'd done it quite right. XD

How do you dither, exactly? I've tried on earlier dolls, but not sure that I really know how to do it effectively.

The way I do it is I shade normally, then go through and dither...

Kawaiihanna has a nice lil' tut to walk you through the basics of dithering; all it does is create the illusion of middle colors for those who do not have a softening tool.

I'm certain there are other ones, I just can't think of any :/ I forget where I learned it from truthfully. I personally prefer to dither with each shade while doing normal shading, otherwise my shades end up coming out too thin and with no room for dithering.

Well, i shade normally and see if I need dithering at all. XD If my work looks fine without, I leave it. If certain spots don't look smoothe enough, I add it.

I like how you made her look like she doesn't care what you think (or how cold you feel). That's exactly what I think of when I think of her. If she'd cared she wouldn't stick around so long xD

Okay so onto CC:

I abosolutely adore your frame. How creative to not only put icicles on top, but on sloping edges near the bottom too! A bit more sparkle/shine on them would have been nice, but I like them as is anyway

I love the hair. How original! And how stringy! It looks very nice, and again, edgy, lol. I also like the fuzzies of her outfit. You draw them well! I find them difficult xD

I agree with the others on the dithering, though I'm not very good at it either. I have started practicing more on it lately though, so hopefully soon we'll get the hang of it huh?
