Me neither; don't think it made it accross the pond. XD When I was at primary school, we also had skipping rope songs but Queenie informs me that skipping ropes were banned when she was at school. XD How tragic.
Under the apple tree My true love said to me Kiss me darling Kiss me darling Under the apple tree And his name is *insert name of boy here* Do you love him? *yes no yes no until girl misses the rope; if yes, carry on. If no, another girl takes her place* What colour is your wedding dress? Red, white, pink, blue, green, yellow, multicoloured? *repeat til girl trips* What will your husband be? Rich, poor, rich, poor *repeat til girl trips* How many children will you have? *count til girl trips* Also this one: My boyfriend gave me an apple, my boyfriend gave me a pear, my boyfriend gave me a kiss kiss kiss and he kicked me down the stair. I gave him back his apple, I gave him back his pear, I gave him back his kiss kiss kiss and I kicked him down the stair, I kicked him over London, I kicked him over France, I kicked him over the USA and he lost his underpants. I took him to the station, I bought him bubble gum, And when he wasn't looking I stuck it up his bum! I made him wash the dishes, I made him clean the floor, I made him wipe the baby's bum in 1984! Cinderella Dressed in yellow Went upstairs to kiss her fellow. Made a mistake, Kissed a snake! How many doctors will it take? *count til girl trips* ![]() |

I prefered skipping to clapping, to be honest; I wanted to show off how well I could skip. XD And during the "under the apple tree" song, it was possible to deliberately trip so that you could end up marrying your crush, having a multicoloured wedding dress, be rich and having no children. XD

XDD I wasn't interested in marrying games at all; thought they were stupid. XD Nor did I care too much about being rich; I've always wanted a small house, and, since my chosen career is fairly high-paying, I'll be able to make my house to be well-decorated, which is always what I imagined.
I wanted a cottage-style house or possibly a small colonial style house, with a neat little garden and ivy creeping up the house, and each little room would have a different theme, like my Aunt Mary's; one room if Egyptian, the other is Chinese, and she used to have a cabin theme, too... ![]() |

What, even when you were eight years old? That's a bit advanced thinking. XD My crush at primary school was the boy that I used to play the "chase girls with worms" game with; hardly anything romantic. XD He also told the other boys they had to let me play football with them.

Yes; I spent my time daydreaming at 6 years old about my future house and life; I swore never to get into drugs, not to get snotty if I got rich, to buy a small house, to stick to one or two children, and to do something artistic-related for a career.
I didn't chase girls with worms, I hugged the worms. ![]() |

Did you ever play that game MASH? We used to do that all the time in day care. People would always put their crush but others would also make them put someone they really didn't like to make it more interesting. I recall the Cinderella game, too.
EDIT: Gah I can barely contain my excitement; critiques for Miss TDP will be up soon! Yay critiques! |
