Me too! I have to read Great Expectation for Honors English. Supposidly, on the first day of school there's an essay test on the book. :P
So I plan on reading it twice this summer.

So I'm not the only one who needs to read for Honors Lit. And it sucks really. Not Lit becuase I love it, that fact that my school is to cheap that we barely got an AP class.

I remember being given a reading list at school when I was doing my GCSEs... and I'd already read about half of it. So all I had to do was pick out three books I owned and read them again.

I hated reading the Great Gatsby... and, yet, I love the 20s... that book was just so horrendously dry.

I liked To Kill a Mockingbird, 1984, A Brave New World.... I doubt I'll have to do much summer reading at an art school, though.

My brother had to read To Kill A Mocking Bird one year, he said it was boring to him. o.o

This being my first year of highschool, I don't have much experience with reading assigments othere than what we reaad in class together. I don't like it when people force me to read something. Which is why when my teacher said "Read chapter 1-2," I finished the book.
