Major tip: don't be afraid. It's better to attempt something than it is to not attempt it, because only then can you improve. For example, if you have trouble with folds, don't just say, "forget it, I'm not doing folds". Instead, just do what you can.
Also, it takes time. If you're not done in 20 minutes, don't fret! Dolls usually take me hours. Tip #3, I didn't start off at the level I am at now. I started out wayyyy worse. I'm still improving! So, don't lose hope. ^_^ ... GOD, I am super bored. [Visit my dA]

Heh, I'm trying to shed some pounds too. I'm 135lbs, and I would love to be 125 or 120 again. I'm not doing it by "deiting" exactly, but I do a lot of late night snacking (so instead of eating ice cream or chips, I'm eating salads or yogurt) and I drink LOADS of pop and alcohol... I'm cutting that down by drinking water as a substitute SOMETIMES. Not all the time, but maybe every other drink.
I'm also biking/walking for about 45minutes-1hour every night. Hoping that I'll being to slowly shed off the weight! [Visit my dA]
