I'm not really interested at all. I know a lot of people will be shocked to the back teeth, what with me being English and all, but I'm really not interested. XD
I'm working that day and getting pots of extra money for it; and, cuz I said I'd work that day, a collegue of mine who'd normally be working the Friday late shift gets to watch the whole thing on TV, as she so wants to do. Of course, my mum is super interested. XD ![]() |

I don't think my parents really care, though a lot of people over here are super excited. Personally I would hate to get married with all this hype. Ut I guess that's what you're expected to do when you're royalty.
Anyways, we're certainly not doing anything. In fact my parents are laughing over the fact all the republican politicians are heading over to see the wedding, what with them all telling us how we should be separate from Britain XD ![]() |

This sounds like an utter waste of money. Especially as they're planning to honeymoon in Gallway or something, which is going to cost Ireland plenty in security. That is a disgrace; why exactly are we paying for some royals to get married?
Of course, the validity of my above source is disputable, as I can't even remember where I got it from, but yeah. Apparently, dissident republican groups have been identified as a threat (well no crap, and I assure you that if they do turn up they'll be packing explosives rather than wedding presents) and also some group called Muslims Against Crusades. What is this *******hattery? They apparently planned a "forceful demonstration." Which is to say, they were going to burn effigies of Prince William and that Middleton chick. Apparently, Muslims Against Crusades believe that Muslims are not "obliged to obey the law of the land in whatever country they reside". What. A. Crock. =/ If I do remember to watch this, it'll frankly be to find out who crashes the wedding first. XD “I mean a weapon you hold. You have a gun, Tanith has a sword... It's one thing to be in favour of a republic, it's quite another to be rude to a woman and refering to her as 'that chick'... tbh.
Aparently the royal family also bring in quite a lot of cash, even if they don't pay taxes. Like all those clever people bringin out ridiculous memorabilia... :P I do not have to stay and watch the whole thing. I wouldnt have the patience. I have more problems with the idea of marriage in general than with the cost involved. At least Catherine wont promise to obay! yay for feminists everywhere! :P |

"That chick" isn't rude; please don't act like a mod and tell someone off, especially since it's unwarranted.
The hypocrisy of some people in the country makes me laugh; there are people happily proclaiming the statement that Friday is a national holiday, while ignoring the fact that it most certainly isn't for anyone working in retail or in the food or entertainment industry. It would wipe the smiles off their faces if a royal proclaimation went out saying all shops, supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants and pubs were to be closed on that day. XD ![]() |

I've been watching all the coverage this morning. Got up at 4 to see the folks arriving. The news here has been kissing Camilla's bum like mad, its driving me crazy. I'm so tired of everyone talking about how everyone loves her when that is so obviously not the truth.
