This royal wedding thing on Friday

I didn't pay attention when they entered, but the news keeps claiming people cheered for Camilla? I find that a little hard to believe. There are plenty of harsh feelings towards the both of them, they haven't exactly gotten more popular since they were attacked by that mob last year. I've read my share of comments that Charles should just step down from his role as the heir, though I've no idea how seriously those ideas are taken in Britain.

I was delighted though, the Queen completely snubbed Camilla. If you can't tell, I really don't like her or Charles and I don't care how "long ago" it was.

Edit: Also, Kate had a second dress for the evening? Need to find an appropriate link to it, but I feel a lot less fuzzy over this. Maybe because she stole it.

I have to agree, the Queen never looks very happy when she talks to Camilla. A lot of the time it seems like she purposely avoids talking to her...

I have to admit I was very fond of Diana but seeing Charles and Camilla just makes me feel bleh

The way they're tilted to one side all the time makes me raise an eyebrow involuntarily. Why can't they just wear their hats on straight like normal people? I didn't really care; though they were some people who missed school to watch it. But in the bits that I saw, the Queen snubbed the bride.

I didn't think the Queen really was particularly rude to Kate. She was nice enough to lend her a tiara, when rumors were running around that she wanted flowers in her hair. If anything, the queen seemed a bit grouchy, but she is old and I'm not too terribly surprised.
