Hara, since I don't know how well you rp, I'd have to get some sample from you to evaluate your writing to see whether or not you can just jump right in to one of our rps. An easy solution t this is to make a character form and first post in the newbie rp. Also, please don't write in such a light color; this website is light, and that makes your message hard to read.
Noirmali... you've been in roleplays, and you an be fun to roleplay with, but you usually drop out of them after a while. How can Miranda or I be sure you'd stick to one this time? I don't want to sound rude to you, but if I did start up a new roleplay, I'd want only members I could count on to post regularly. Yes, I DO have a sci-fi roleplay I've been considering posting, but I've been holding off with it, for, as of right now, there are only three regular roleplayers. ![]() |

D: I know what you mean Spirit. Lol.
That's why I didn't send the message. Because I know myself as well and know that I'd probably get bored eventually without lots of people keeping it active. : B I also hate being away for days at a time then coming back and being like LOL THE PLOT WENT -WHERE-? I suppose I'll just go roleplay at Gaia with the n00bs, lolol |

Hara, before you even consider starting an RP, I'd suggest you took the following steps.
1. Post in the Newbies RP, which can be found here. I know that you might not consider yourself an RPing newbie, especially if you've RPed on other sites before, but you're new here and as Queenie pointed out earlier, it's really the best way for us regulars to be able to evaluate you. Like Queenie, I don't really want to have someone join an RP I start who still posts in first person or Mary Sues. 2. Read the RPG forum stickies, which can be found here and here. Our rules are nowhere near as strict as those found on sites devoted exclusively to RPing; however, they are more complex than sites like Quizilla or Gaiaonline, and everyone who RPs here has to follow them. If you want to start a new RP, your RP must fit the guidelines I laid out, or it will not be accepted and will be locked. 3. Check the Categories topic to make sure that there's a category free for your RP. This can be found here. This topic was added at a time when loads of people were just throwing out identical RPs with identical plots and it really helped people to be more creative than just the generic "high school with powers" plot. I don't mean to discourage anyone from posting new RPs or joining any open ones; I just get very tired of people who come here and want to RP by their own standards rather than ours, and subsequently complain about their RPs being locked or their characters critiqued. Especially seeing as a site devoted to RPing exclusively would have rules about ten times stricter. ![]() |
