I can understand parents wanting to know what their kids are up to, but forbidding them from listening to music is just... cruel and stupid, I can't think of any other way to describe it. I can understand being annoyed if they're playing music way too loud, or playing the same song over and over, but why would they forbid listening on headphones, other than thinking "Mwahaha I hate music now you will suffer"? What kind of parent would think like that?

My parents used to hate the music I played like the plague, but they never tried to stop me playing music. O.o

i listen to the music anyway.lol. but its just annoying for them to keep nagging me. they think lots of music is "innapropriate"

Yesterday, me and a full raid of alliance players invade Silvermoon, undercity and thunder bluff, killing Lor'themar, halduron brightwing, rommath, sylvanas, Varimathras and cairne bloodhoof. Just as I was getting ready to thoroughly rub it in bye going on my horde alt, spamming the horde trade channel and spitting on the bodies, my mom yanked the internet cable. :/ I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I have to add the insult real quick before the respawns start!!! And she was like 'No, Aaron, one nights homework is sooo much more important than the most famous act of your whole online life'

my mom once got mad cuz my dad didnt taker her to starbucks (she didnt even ask him 2) ummm....omg once i was watching a show and there was like 5 min left and u know how the end is the best part well my dad came downsatirs and was like GO TO BED and i was like well theres only 5 min left wont u just let me watch it??? and he was like NO GO TO BED grr thats annoying

The 'stupid' things my mum did were always the type of things that sit down and make you think "Can I really be related to her?" never any of the overprotective stuff.

When we were little we were on the train and Mum pointed out the window and goes "Look girls! Look at all the sheep!" and we look out the window and they arent sheep, theyre haybales. Theres something about your 6 and 4yr old daughters having to point out the different between haybales and sheep to their mother that is a little strange.

She very clutsy aswell, I fear going into shops with fragile objects in them with her, she always knocks one over with her bag or gets her belly chain tangled on something.

She broke her crystal ball while sleepwalking last year.

She vaccums the walls, she lifts up the vaccum cleaner and runs them up and down the walls, ive never met anyone else who does that and its a little weird.

She bought a big statue of a cow and put it on the roof of our house when we were little, everyone in the community called our house "Cow House" until it broke.

And she keeps summoning spirits and forgets to let them back home, its really frustrating when she does that.

Mum got stuck on the roof of her new boyfriend's house yesterday. He called me and my boyfriend to get her down. It was hillarious.

when my mother was alive she would call me all the time like a minumum of three times a day, but I could understand why because we lived in two different countries. My father does the same still and he lives three hosues away from me and wants me to always have a male escort outside. which I don't want to.Also I hate how I am constantly being told that I am doing something wrong, because it is not done the way my father likes it done... Like I am able to write with both hands. My dad is very religious and belives writting with the left is a sign of the devil. which honestly is a load of crap... I only do it because one hand gets tired of writting...
