Life after death

That's what I had been talking about with a friend a little while after my last person.
This is what he said,"It'll be a heck of a ride to see for yourself." And I couldn't help but agree.

Who says there's a point to life? We're born, we die, we rot in the ground. Same as every other living creature on the earth.

I agree completely with Miranda_. Every bit. There isn't a purpose in life, really, you just end up dead, in a hole in the ground, or burned to ash, whatever tickles your fansy. Not in some surreal, unhuman-like world in the clouds, or down in a firery pit of doom. I do believe in Karma (if you do bad to someone, bad happens to you) though, and have been burnt a few times. XD

And I do believe in evolution. It involves science, and biology. There is virtual, living, proof.

We'll never know until we're dead, though. And then, we can't tell anyone who's alive. Just live every day like it's your last. Don't count on heaven or... hell, if that's what you want.

I don't need proof. I go by faith that the Bible is real, ya know? I feel really strongly about it.

But this also means that I believe when you die, you go through Judgement Day, where all of your sins are used against you, to determine whether or not you eternally die or whether you eternally live. I believe most things in the Bible are real, even David and Goliath (there is proof for that story, mostly about the sheer size of Goliath). Maybe not that whale story, but you know, I just believe that there is a God, and he is the center of the universe.

I guess we won't know if there is life after death until we are dead.

And missmerm, I am sorry you feel that way. My youth pastor describes that place (dad will kill me if I actually say it) as pitch black darkness. You are standing up, and stinging scorpions are constantly biting at you, and when you call for your friends, they never hear you. He scared me with the picture he painted.

Ppl have been doing that for years, to scare ppl into going to church. There is no such place as hell. And I believe Jesus existed, just not that he was the son of god.
