We don't refrigerate ours either, syrup I mean. XD

We refrigerate our garlic; keeps it fresher and I noticed that the flavor is a lot more intense after awhile.

Far, far beyond the island, we dwelt in shades of twilight, through dread and weary days, through grief and endless pain. It lies unknown, the land of mine! A hidden gate to save us from the shadow fall. The lord of water spoke in the silence words of wisdom. I've seen the end of all: Be aware, the storm gets closer.

We do, probably just because there's so much stuff in our pantry. Sometimes we heat it if we need it, though.

My family goes through so much freaking butter that we don't even have to BEGIN to worry about it going bad. Not even close.
A while back I said EW to this, but I'm eating my words now!

I was watching a baker on YouTube and she's ALWAYS going on about UNSALTED butter, about how she likes the taste better. I was all "whatever" until I used some in something other than baking. ZOMG! UNSALTED BUTTER FTW!!!! Ya'll should try it. On toast, on veggies, in mac n cheese. It seriously seriously taste WAY better than tubs of butter. Annnnnddd here's where I eat my words of my previously declared "EW": I keep it on the counter in a margarine container. Yup. There, I said it. Course, I'm sure to eat it up within a week, after a week of being on the counter I'd probably toss it, but that's never a problem. I love me some buttered toast!

See. it's no big deal.
No, the sketchy part is when we had a cat and left the lid off the tub, he would jump up on the table and lick the butter. Needless to say, I had a new job: butter tub-checker.

I'm amazed how many people DON'T refrigerate maple syrup. My family always has. Everyone I know does it. o_o I refrigerate margarine (I don't use butter), all my condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc - P.S. I hate mustard, it's there for other people), but I don't refrigerate bread UNLESS I buy extra because of a sale. Then I throw the extra in the fridge.

I refrigerate my peanut butter though. I buy the all natural stuff though. If I bought the regular stuff, I'd keep it in the cupboard.
