Fettucine Alfredo...

I just have a question...probably stupid...
Anyway, I have this recipe for Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and I was wondering, besides just taking the chicken out of the recipe, is there anything that I could replace it with? I have been considering becoming vegetarian and I just want to...explore my options before just taking the chicken out of my recipe completely...
So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Boca makes vegitarian chicken...you could just switch it out to have fake chicken instead of the real thing. It taste REALLY good, I'm not a vegitarian, but vegitarian meats are lower in calories so thats why I like it, not to mention it still taste like the real thing.

Why don't you just take out the chicken, and just make it with pasta. I have done recipes like those.
