That, by the way, is what my best mate calls me.

I may not be interested in fashion, but I do have a sense of what looks good and what doesn't, so here are my tips:
1. Dress according to body shape.
That's right, assess your size and shape and dress accordingly. For example, if you're overweight, dress to flatter yourself. That means no dressing in thin girl fashions like crop tops and low slung jeans. Cover up your belly; no-one wants to see a wobbly belly hanging out over your jeans.
Men's jeans will flatter you far more than low slung ladies jeans. Wear heels with them to feminize them and a nice long top to cover your belly. If you have nice bo'obs, then show a bit of cleavage. The trick is to draw attention to your good bits and draw it away from the bad.
If you have the opposite problem, ie are skinny as a rail, don't wear tops that were made for bigger busts than yours. The sagging bit at the top will not flatter you. Also, don't wear miniskirts if you have bony legs cuz you will look chicken like. Wear short skirts if you want, but pick ones that flair out a bit and always wear tights.
Tights flatter any size of leg; they cover up shaving cuts, fake tan disasters or paleness. Plus you don't get that irritating problem when your socks fall down your boots.
2. Dress appropiately according to which season it is.
That means, when it's cold sling on a warm coat and cover up. Blue, goose pimpled flesh is only attractive to Smurfs; what might look good in summer does not suit winter. Don't wear sandles; not only cuz of the cold factor, but if everyone else is wearing chunky boots the chances of your feet being crushed to oblivion are very high. And for god's sake, don't ever wear socks with sandles!!! That is the worst ever fashion crime.
Finally, don't bother slapping on the fake tan. Everyone at this time of year is pale, so we'll all know it's fake. Especially if you muck it up and end up either streaky or looking as if you've been Tangoed.
3. Know which colours suit, and which ones go together.
Should be obvious, but never put colours like bright red and emerald green together, or orange and yellow. You will look ridiculous and everyone will be whispering behind your back speculating either that you're colour blind or you got dressed in the dark.
