Who thinks Hot Topic is Expensive??

When the store opened up a few years ago, their prices were bomb, and their stuff was good quality.

Then suddenly about 2 years ago they became really popular and their prices went WAY up, and the quality of their products went way down. Which unfortunately seems to be the thing that happens to cool stores.

They still have some nice things in there, that prices are ok, but the clothing prices are awful. I saw a pair of plain skinny leg black pants with an inch of zipper on the leg for $60. The only thing I ever really buy from there is accessories. I did buy a pair of $35 red leopard print pants xD, they were so snazzy I couldn't help myself.

I lucked out a few months ago, the one near my house was having a HUGE sale and almost everything in the store was 60 off plus 50 off of most of that too. I bought like 20 or so things for about 70 bucks :}.

I use to shop at Hot topic 24/7 when I was in middle school. Lol and sometimes I'll go there for t-shirts but I really do agree that is overpriced. The clothes are cheaply made. I once got a pair of pants there and it already had holes in them and then I got another pair and the seams were falling apart..
I like some of their accessories though and the stickers. :]

XD Finally! My firned Brittany/Ryan (her nickname is ryan, but I call her both) waits for Halloween time and buys funky accessories for cheap aorund then at halloween stores.

We try to find shortcuts, it's fun.

Some of my other friends, however, love to splurge. -.- They don't have siblings to contend with for $!
