Contacts or Glasses

I love my glasses, they're kind of like an fashion statement. I want to get contacts for practical reason though.
I suppose it depends on whether you have a face that suits glasses or not.

I have had glasses since I was 3 years old and I am sick and tired of them. I have been wearing contacts since I was 13 and I love them but hate them. Love them because I feel more confident and well when I am playing rugby I don't have to worry about anything on my face. Plus more compliments from cute guys tehe. Negatives are they hurt like super badly and I have a dry tear gland so it drives me nuts. I have been looking at new glasses because I have had mine for like 5 years now and well I need a change and they are like the bottle cap ones:P lol

I used to hate wearing glasses and never wore them; when I first had to wear glasses, the only ones you could get were horrible clunky specs with thick frames that were ugly as hell. -.- Now tho, the glasses you can get are classy, with loads of different frames and prescription sunnies, too. ^^ My sight is terrible, so I have to wear glasses all the time. XD

My eyes still really suck. XD I would honestly never switch to contacts; I found out I have an eye allergy to a couple of cats I know and it makes my eyes dry and itchy, so that means I'd have to use eyedrops - which I really hate as I associate it with pinkeye. x_x

But yeah, there are tons of different glasses out now. There's even kinds that are clear plastic with lenses built into them. ^_^

I prefer glasses.. There was this time when I was really tired, I went to my bed, fell asleep and totally forgot to take of my contacts.. When I woke up, my eyes were all red.. After that I never my contacts again..
