Edgy Prom Dresses?

My prom is coming up in May, and I was wondering if anyone knows any good stores to buy prom dresses. But I don't want a 'princess' type dress, I would love something edgy and different. Something that I'll be able to play with and make different.

The theme of the prom is Wonderland, so that might help.

So, anyone know any good stores where I could find a dress like this? Thanks.

Well, if you want to go edgy, I'd say go short vs floor length. You do cosplay, right? It might be easier if you start with a basic short blue dress and make it Alice-y (in both sense of the word) to your liking. Most of the major department stores will probably have only long dresses, so I'd check places that also sell homecoming dresses such as Kohl's, Dressbarn, and JC Penny. I ordered a dress from winsdor.com once, but I don't know if that is something you'd want to look in to. Regardless, they had some pretty interesting dresses on their website. Honestly, all I can think of is Hot Topic. I know a few people who go there for dances and things.
If that doesn't help, I would also suggest looking at Deb's. Sometimes they have good dresses. Or, alternatively, go online and look at Hell Bunny dresses. They're expensive but great.
