Can we please keep this on topic? I understand that you guys are discussing the comparisons of two music genres, but I don't believe it really is covering the broad spectrum of entertainment. What about musicals, movies, TV, etc etc?

I think having a good singing voice is not a talent,its something your born with like good looks.Having talent is being able to market yourself well,act,or have some ability you had to work for or improve.
There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened. - Douglas Adams

Actually, some people have to work really hard to improve their singing.
