I'm actually surprised that no one has a thread on this, because I noticed there are some fans around here. ^^

Talk about the series here. About the books, characters, favorites, whatever. You may do spoilers also.

I got my butt to finally get reading on the last book. Annabeth is p*ssing me off 'cuz she is being a whiny b*tch. Also, I dislike Rachel Elizabeth Dare for many reasons. My favorite book out of the series is The Battle Of The Labyrinth. I know Annabeth is making me mad at the moment, but Percabeth is mah fav couple. <3

If I were a demigod, my mommy would be Aphrodite. She just interests me. And my bff would be Grover. Why? Cuz he is a cool satyr with a rasta hat. ^^ *pulls Grover away from Percy*

I haven't gotten around to reading the books yet, but I've heard pretty good things about them.

I know almost everyone in the English department was talking about them, I just haven't had the chance to pick one up.


But I watched the movie...and I absolutely hated the movie. Probably because Chris Columbus directed it (He also directed the first Harry Potter movie). I think he completely fails at capturing books and putting them on the screen...

He moves things along way to fast. The beginning of Percy Jackson was super rushed...and it left me no time to get into it.

I've only read the first book, but it was great!
I`ll prolly read a few more books in the next week because of the extra long boringggg plane flight!
I would want to be Zeus's child if I was a demigod.
(Haha prolly not)
But I would DEFINITELY want to be Posiden's child.
I <3 water and I <3 Percy, so I could be his sister!

I heard the movie sucked, but I want to see it anyway. And I'm sad that it's nothing like the book.
