Skinny girl bands are terrible role models

Take a look at the photos in the following article: Girls Aloud are Britain's most successful girl band - and suddenly the skinniest too | Mail Online These girls are horribly skinny; as a lot of girl singers tend to be. They're awful role models for droves of young female fans who are being led to believe that the only way to be loved and successful is to be unhealthily thin.

EWWWW. I somply cannot understand the impulse to be that thin; they all look wraith-like, wheras before they looked natural, healthy. The first girl in the article had wonderful curves without having a super belly or anything; she should have ocunted that as a blessing. But she ruined it.

that is soo sad..All the images of the ladies before look so healthy, young and beautiful where as the ones taken after look so old and unhealthy. Its really sad women feel the need to do this.

Oh god, those legs :/. She looks like a victim of famine.

I'm kind of on the fence about this issue, though. On one hand, I'm really not into judging musicians by their appearance or personal life - as long as the music is good, that's all that should matter. But on the other hand, these things definitely present a bad role model for kids.
