Yea I knew that about both novels before hand. Jekyll and Hyde the most. It's not even from the perspective of the same character.

I think the HP books caught Americanitis. Which means they changed lots of names and terms to things the yanks are more familiar with. How any publisher can be stupid enough to think readers will react at all to whether the characters say mom or mum needs to be fired. And possibly executed by molotov cocktail.
