ROCKS FELL AND EVERYBODY DIED.
Well, not really, but that is how it should have ended. In the real book, nobody died and they lived happily forever after in sparkly bliss. Puke-a-tronic.

What really p*sses me of about it is all the hype the cast is getting for being in the failfest movie. I really don't think Robert Pattinson was considered so hot when he was in Harry Potter, though he didn't have a major role. Now that he's a star everyone thinks he's a statue of a god or something. -.- If they're acting was horrible, everyone would love them because of just being Twilight, just like most teenage girls like the books because it has Edward in it. I also read in a magazine that Kristen Stewart thinks "Bella is not typical female lead." That is so not true in any way; in spite of the vampires and stuff, Bella is the typical female lead, damsel in distress. Types of woman like that are incredibly annoying in movies because we've already seen them before.
And, the reason I personally think that Harry Potter is better than Twilight is because you can't really remember anything from Twilight. They don't have a whole different world like Harry Potter does. You can't really imagine yourself being in Twilight, save the insert sue Stephanie Meyer has devised for herself. And that Harry Potter has good character's with good personalites because they aren't the typical damsel in distress role or pretty boy role. I am also sick of seeing the girls who think that they're ugly, but then everyone thinks their pretty. Not to mention that everything goes perfect for Bella in the books. Voldemort comes back in some of the books, but James is already killed in the first or second book I believe. Harry Potter is not liked by everyone at Hogwarts, but in Twilight, every boy loves her and quickly tries to make a move on her. That never happens in any case, ever. Bella is a typical sterotype and a mockery of what the female gender is. We are NOT little damsel's that need to be saved all the time, Stephanie Meyer. Did anyone hear that Twilight is going to court for plagurism? Click. That makes me a little happy, because it says that New Moon is going to be halted, so that we won't have little rabid fangirls sooner. |

He was Cedric, wasn't he?
When I was a teen, the craze was over Sweet Valley High books and a TV series even got made. Ironically, Sweet Valley High might be a series of trashy teen books, but its characters are far more flawed, believable and memorable than Twilight's. XD ![]() |

Yeah he was Cedric.
I have read all the Twilight series and I quite liked them but I have to say that they aren't the best books in the world. I was in a shop the other day and was looking at the books and my mum pointed something out to me. It was a book with a bright red apple on the front called vampire diaries or something along those lines. It wasn't by Stephenie meyer and my mum said that that was seriously rocking the boat. I didn't really care though because if Meyer did actually take her old friend's idea then it's basically just giving her a taste of her own medicine. |

My parents have no idea what Twilight it, thank God. XD
At Wal-Mart, they have this little stand and it says "Great Books - 30% off" There's all these Twilight books staked on it. Whenever my brother and I pass it, we looked away and chuckle. "Twilight? Great books? No thanks." XD I go down to Wal-Mart every couple days, and I don't think the Twilight books are being bought. There has to be about 50 of the books (the whole saga of them), and that never seems to change. XD I guess all the obsessive teenage girls already have copies, and no one else wants to read them. :P I remember in my P.E class last year, everyone (with the exception of myself and this other girl) seemed to love Twilight and they talked about it all the time... They even forced our P.E. teacher to read it. I'm not sure if she ever did, but the other girl and I tried to beg her not to. XD |

HAHA! Take THAT, Steph Meyer! I hope the people who were involved with Invasion of the Bodysnatchers sue you over your book, The Host! YOU RIPOFF ARTIST!
... *cough* Ahem. >> I used to read The Babysitter's Club books, still do now and then. What I liked is that they always had their own flaws; one of the characters was diabetic and had a really bad attack of it in one of the books, and she almost became involved in a custody battle over her between her parents. I can't remember the ending to it. Far, far beyond the island, we dwelt in shades of twilight, through dread and weary days, through grief and endless pain. It lies unknown, the land of mine! A hidden gate to save us from the shadow fall. The lord of water spoke in the silence words of wisdom. I've seen the end of all: Be aware, the storm gets closer. Av by Miranda_
