The "Thin" Thing

I have an hourglass body shape, but not in the bad sense. I like the way I look and feel, but my friends are constantly trying to make my gain weight. I'm in the 100-110 weight range and I'm 15. Personally, I don't think it's too bad. But, apparently my friends have a different way of looking at it. Even though they want me to gain weight, at my school, you have to be skinny. Most people are, because we come from a community where organic fruits and veggies are big, but there are always the people who aren't thin, like my old best friend. No one would talk to her, but I got her into the 'group.' The group is 16 of my besties. I think it is revolting that in order to be cool you have to be skinny, when perfectly good people are excluded.

Thats horrible! Nobody should be left out because of their weight. If that problem gets really bad, talk to a counsler, or a principal. That is basically racism to me.

Me and my sister was watching a t.v show, I think it may have been "One Tree Hill" but I'm not to sure, anyways all the girls on the show was like super skinny, and my sister says "omg, every time I watch t.v there's always a bunch a skinny people that are too skinny! I swear, is being skinny like that in style now?!" Which it did make me laugh. I remember seeing on a cover of a magazine that some t.v stars were ordered to lose weight, and they looked sick in some of the pictures...if that's mean to say I'm sorry but they didn't look to healthy...

That's why I don't watch any of those pointless 'teen' shows like One Tree Hill, The O.C., Gossip Girl, 90210, etc. -_-

I love the O.C, but its true. If you look at Mischa Barton, she looks like she is wearing all skin and bones. Thats how it is, and its nasty.

Actually, 2 of the actresses on 90210 are reportedly being temporarily forced on leave until they gain weight. They really are skin and bones.

Dosen't suprise me. Eating won't kill you. Just eat right, and not to much, and you should be good. Nothing is wrong with curves, I'd rather have curves than be stick skinny.

But people who are skin and bones are just ugly, to me. There is a line between thin and skinny.

I have a slight problem with gaining weight. I'm very skinny and one of my friends who is younger than me weighs over 100 lbs. and i weigh 87. I am really worried about my problem and I don't want to be anorexic. I have trouble gaining weight, and I don't know how to!!!I don't want to be this thin!!!I think it makes me more unattractive than attractive.

i weigh more than all my friends... it's weird i'm 93 pounds or a little over but my mom says its because im so tall.....she probably lying! darn moms!
