Not really. And what you just said was prejudiced. All the houses have good and bad points; you can't have read the books very well if you didn't get that simple point. There are good people from Slytherin and bad people from Gryffindor *cough*Wormtail*cough* so saying something like that is prejudice in the extreme. There are good points to being a Slytherin; ie being ambitious and having smarts, just as there are bad points to being a Raven; being know it all and being smug.

I know that all houses have good and bad points and essensially they rely on stereotypes, but the basis of Slytherin house is that only pure bloods are worth bothering with. Which is after all, racism. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw will mix with other houses, they are fairly good natured, Slytherin is the only house who will not mix because they are prejudice towards other races.

Meh... They look down on anyone who is not pureblood. The general idea is that purebloods should rule the magic world. To me that seems like racism. Thats the basis of the Slytherin house. It doesn't seem like something you should want to be part of (although I realise that it doesn't make you racist to want to be slytherin, But the ideas are fundamentally the same as the racism we experience in real life) .
