Best Broadway Musicals

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street=amazing. A movie is supposed to be in the making for late this year or next, staring Johnny Depp as the wonderful homicidal barber.

I also enjoyed Phantom of the Opera and Rent and really wish the see Lestat(the musical) and Wicked.

I think some of you are getting mixed up... Broadway musicals are not movies... sometimes they are made into a movie, or vise-versa, but broadway is NOT a movie...

I like Phantom of the Opera, Grease(broadway+movie), and Hairspray(broadway)

This is by far my favorite post. I love musicals!! Without Broadway, I don't know how I'd live.
Let's see...
There's Rent, Hairspray, Wicked, Grease...those are the ones on the list.
As for ones off the list: Mary Poppins was quite good, Annie Get Your Gun, Sunday in the Park with George, Grey Gardens, Spring Awakening, and of course, Les Miserables!!
