Here's a thought to maybe open up things:

Some shows that are being named are fantastic, even those that unfortunately aren't technically "Broadway musicals" -- whether that means Off-Bway, Off-Off-Bway, movie-musical, etc. Like, two favorite shows of mine are Altar Boyz and Bat Boy, but they're "Off-Broadway". Not like the forum is being uber-constricted about musicals being mentioned, as it isn't. Just a question to admins or whoever concerning whether we should limit this stuff to "Broadway". Or, you know, you can just delete it and forget it ever happened.

I don't know...maybe something to consider/discuss? Broadway vs. Off-Bway vs. all the other stuff, or just favorite musicals in general and where they've come from.

When my mom went to NY, she saw a show of Broadway that was called "Musical of Musicals" It was supposedly really good. I suppose it's something like "Forbidden Braodway."

I picked Chicago, but Grease is good, and Cats was awesome. I don't think High School Musical was any good, but I am going to see the Hairspray movie.
