Oh my gosh! I simply ADORE the fact that you got your mother involved!!! My mother would never understand my dolling passion, lol. But then again, she herself builds dolls unknowningly (avitars for her beloved gamesites), but they're those "easy makers" and they're only for those sites specifically for the users to use as avitars so I doubt she'd agree it's the same thing, lol.

Oh well, I know better! Dolling is dolling is dolling. I don't care what the end product is for.

And good job on the flame doll, it's very nicely made, lots of creativity. ^^

Yeah, she used to think it was just a silly hobby until I took her through the process of making a doll (specifically, the 50's one), then she realized how fun it is and how serious it is, because you want to have a solid final product!

And thanks so much for the comments on the flame doll. I don't know if you remember, but a couple years back, there was another elemental contest, and I entered this doll which I'm linking to cause it's so old, and I was given some feedback to make the background more interesting, and to try having a frame that wasn't just a black border, so I guess you could say the current flame doll is me putting those last critiques into action, .

Miss TDP 2 Round 2! I wasn't really sure what to do for this since it's a very broad theme and I'm not so good with those, so I tried to be unique in a way that incorporated a literal "splash" (or spill, in this case)...

Short Explanation/Comments (OPTIONAL): Penelope went on a vacation to the Mediterranean; she was enjoying some wine but wanted to explore the vineyards where she was staying. When she came back, a dog had come and knocked over her wine glass! One of the other tourists caught a snapshot of her surprised expression and made this little souvenir to remind her that it's silly to get upset over little mishaps.

Actually, it came from Rommie; I edited one of the La Viro dresses. They have a lot of good outfits that work well with shuni heads cause of the size. I want to say it was the fruit fantasy maker?
