Finally, a new dollmaker - Dragon Quest theme

My Dragon Quest IX Dollmaker by Dollmakerscript.com - Haven't created a new dollmaker for my site in years, but finally did a new one, based on the recent Nintendo DS game Dragon Quest IX, a series I'm a big fan of.

Wanted to include everything in the game, but turned out to be just too much for now to do everything, so I made it more of a DQ IX inspired dollmaker  - only a female dollmaker for now (since most visitors to my site are, and which cuts down the number props a lot), and only one face which I edited a bit, and I also limited the number of hairstyles and skin tones a little. Also stuck with the clothing I liked most. However, did lot of palette swaps on the stuff I did add. Still testing it out (everything might not fit right, especially hair stuff on different hairstyles), and may add more later. What really hurts more than anything is that for dollmakers I have to use transparent gifs, and the conversion from png to gif really lowers the quality and can distort things. :( Getting the tones right was a big problem too for the stuff I used digital shots for (no easy way to transfer directly from the DS to the computer)-- ended up having a grid-effect on a lot of stuff, and a lot of it came out too light/bright.

Only other video game one I've done was for Harvest Moon; of course I don't own any of these images and put that disclaimer on my site, and I make no money from my site-- more of a fan-site type of thing with these.

Here are some dolls I put together using it-
