Help Getting Over Someone
Well if you ever looked at the "Crush Problem" thread then you would know that me and this guy were in the makings of a relationship. But that kind of has went downhill...

So after the night (Let's call him Bob) Bob told me that he liked me (I already knew, but he was just making it clear) he insisted that we get to know each other better before we dated. And I of course understood. We talked for about 2 weeks after that, but then I went to school...
My best friend, who plays soccer, told me how Bob had another girl as his background on his phone. When asked, "Hey I thought you and Rachel had a thing?" He simply replied, "Not really." :(
I was stunned and I couldn't believe it. I even had to ask other soccer players to confirm my suspicion. It was true. :(
Anyways I had a long discussion with him, and I didn't really forgive him. We stopped talking and Bob and the other girl started getting cozy. It was an old girlfriend of Bob. Kind of like they date, break up, date, break up, it's an ongoing thing.
And a few weeks ago, it turns out she was just leading him on. (KARMA SUCKS DOESN'T IT!!!!) So he's kind of heartbroken, but he still likes her. D:

Sooooo here's my dilemma. It's been about 3 months since it all happened. Bob and I get along fine now except I think I still have feelings for him. The way the relationship ended was me still liking him, but not wanting to deal with his crap. And he just forgot about me and went to the other chick. I'm not sure what to do about it though. Should I follow my feelings and attempt a relationship again or just ignore it?

Honestly? I'd ignore it, because I have a feeling that kind of cycle will just repeat itself, and you will always get the short end of the stick; he'll probably end up seeing/using you as a "fallback" until he and the other girl (or another girl) get back together. I mean, it sounds like HE was leading YOU on in the first place. I know (believe me, I have had A LOT of experience in this area) that it can difficult to move on, but if you can ignore your feelings for Bob, you may meet someone new. It's best to keep your eyes open because you never know what might be waiting right in front of you, and if you're too hung up on Bob, someone else waiting on the sidelines could go completely unnoticed. That's my thought on the subject, anyway.
