Scene Hair
 

I don't really get why so many people are into the scene hairstyle. Why?

It's a trend right now...I can see it is slowly fading out but I know how you feel. Apparently bleach blonde and fried is a new favorite style, or just black and fried. Has anyone but me noticed their hair is so fried? I feel bad for stylists having to put in all those layers

Its just orangish blonde with straight bangs at the front..pretty much not scene

Well that looks good but I just don't like the kind with like 5000 colors and layers and coontails all at the same time :[

I like (and have) scene hair. I would never acutally dye it with wacky colours like pink and blue, I'll buy extensions o.O And chances are I'd only wear the extensions when i see them, which would be hardly ever :D

Nobody that I personally know has that hair style. My friend Helen used to (kind of), before it became popular. Actually, even then it wasn't really that style. She just teased the back and added a lot of hairspray. The front was still pretty straight.

I think it looks okay, but it seems like lots of work. And most guys I know don't seem to like it much on girls. It usually looks too fried, fake, and my boyfriend said he thinks it's a "trend" and most people with the look are just posers and conformists. xD He doesn't understand the whole "scene"/"emo" thing. O_o

Like I said, in my opinion it looks okay. It's just that there's so much more you can do with your hair that takes way less effort, and usually guys like that better. I know my boyfriend (if we lived together) would hate it if I used up cans and cans of hairspray and took at least an hour in the bathroom in the morning to straighten and style my hair. :P

Personally, I love the way that scene hair looks, it's really pretty ;D

Well, I kinda agree with Hayley. Sometimes it looks fried. And sometimes people tease it to much and it looks really really really knotted and gross...like in this youtube video I saw. -shudders- But most of the time I adore it :D
