But if you absolutely have to go somewhere again, ask people about the salon you just went to; if that woman's the only one who does that, she can get fired.
Also, cutting under your nails does NOT help nail growth; it makes it horribly painful, and you're left with scar tissue under the nails' ends. I managed to nick myself under my thumbnail once when I was doing a project for fourth grade, and I STILL have scar tissue from it. Far, far beyond the island, we dwelt in shades of twilight, through dread and weary days, through grief and endless pain. It lies unknown, the land of mine! A hidden gate to save us from the shadow fall. The lord of water spoke in the silence words of wisdom. I've seen the end of all: Be aware, the storm gets closer. Av by Miranda_

Oh wow.
That is really nasty. I got my nails done in Maine (when I was on vacation) and they were super hygienic. They had instruments that they used and when they were done, they threw them away. Why would they clip underneath your nails? That would hurt badly. Happy June everyone and have a happy summer! ![]() Credits: Avie - Cutiekins. Doll - Me; Animated by x_____x.

Report them to the health department. That is extremely unhygenic and does put a lot of customers at risk since there are dangerous diseases spread by blood that can last for months at a time in the same place. Hepatitis C, for example, since AIDS and HIV can't be spread like that. All tools are supposed to be cleaned in places like that, especially if they caused you to bleed.
