ok well tight jeans can either be a yes or a no if u have the body to wear them and can still move in them go ahead but you should wear something that flatters you. If you are on the heavier side wear something that is slimming besides if u wear something that shoes every inch of skin possible it makes you look easy if u no wat i mean and thats not wat a guy is looking for in a gf

in my opinion, guys want you to dress like yourself. they can tell when your putting on an act and they can tell when your uncomfortable. i think most guys just want you to be yourself so they can get ot know the real you. as for makeup well don't overdo it. maybe a bit of mascara and lipgloss, that should do it. and as for clothes just dress comfortably, but make sure it isn't anything revolting. maybe a cute skirt(doesn't have to be short) and a cute top. you could wear heels but it isn't necessary. you should just be yourself. it shouldn't matter how you dress it should be your personna that turns him on

Exactly. When I first met my boyf, I was wearing a Marilyn Manson t-shirt and a velvet skirt. Probably not the outfit most girls would consider attractive, but my boyf was certainly drawn to me.

guys like the super cute look ><;;
they dont want to see girls flaunt them selves around like they are on sale wear little makeup, NOT GLOSS, but maybe "soft lips" chap stick, to make your lips look soft, not sticky >< - and dont put colours on your eyes, stick with light shades of brown or medium shades of grey and wear black or brown eyeliner to make your eye colour pop out wear comfortable jeans, but not to tight and a LONG tee shirt, one that falls to the middle of your forearm and don't wear heels - get some flat slip on shoes - guys like their girls shorter than them and keep the shirt design to a minimum, try a plain white, red, or green tee - leave all the designs in a sweater jacket - you want to look conservative gyus want to see a girl they can trust to not be a sl=t so don't dress like one.... wear your hair down - and your natural look (curls are too fake, only have curls if they're naturally yours) dont wear too much neck jewelery and hanging earings are OUT!! wear smalls loops or small studs the outfit is plain and simple, but it works and it's comfortable and it suits just about anyone - good luck Quote:
my boyfriend is Mexican and he wears the "fresh" look (white tee, loose jeans, over shirt, vans, etc... ) i have light skin (yeah i dont know what i am, im halfa orphan :P ) and i dress punk and gothic-loli the best thing overall is to be yourself, but if that scares you then just stick with the basics and simple things that are comfortable and conservative like my jeans suggestion above |

Okay, I respect what all of you are trying to say, but I have to disagree with most of you. Now, I know I can't really pretend that I know what guys like, since I've never really had a boyfriend, but please hear me out.
Any self-respecting girl would not pretend to be something she's not or dress in a way she's not comfortable with or doesn't like just for a guy. All you should have to do is be yourself, and if he doesn't like you for you, then he's not worth it. The worst thing you could ever do is to dress in his type of style (especially if you don't normally : ex. he dresses goth and you don't, but then you start dressing goth to get his attention). No-no. Also, I noticed a lot of you girls are suggesting she wear skirts. What if she doesn't like to wear skirts? I guess the main point I'm trying to make is to not do anything you're not comfortable with to get a guy's attention. If you don't like wearing skirts, don't wear skirts, if you don't want to dress in his style, don't dress in his style, and if he likes girls who wear skimpy clothes, DON'T. Period. Again, just be yourself. Also, as to makeup, just wear what you would normally. If you look at my signature you'll be able to tell at first glance what I live by. Think about it. He should like you, not some person you pretend to be. ~Nikki |

I couldn't agree more. Besides, no-one likes a fake; if you're faking goth and the bloke you're trying to impress is a real goth, he'll suss you in 10 seconds flat and then hate you for faking.

Girls should wear things flattering to their bodies and girls pretty much always look better with makeup, unless you are doing it wrong. I used to be anti-makeup and dress like a boy and stuff... but I saw the light. I don't have great fashion sense, though. haha
