I can't stop crying about this.

I need help.

There's this guy, Philip, who's been my classmate for two years now. I liked him then, I like him now.

Last year, he used to notice me, and talk to me. We were good friends. But then, we just fell apart. Even now, he acts like I'm not even there. He now hangs out with pretty much every girl in our class, other then the smart people who choose not to hang out with anyone and me. He plays with their hair, laughs at their jokes, and just straight up flirts with them. In front of my face.

When I try to make a joke, HE DOESN'T EVEN LOOK AT ME, and makes me feel like I'm a complete idiot who talks to myself. And whenever I say something, he doesn't respond, he just takes what I said and uses it as his own joke.

Whenever I talk to him on AIM, it's like:
Me: Hi Phil.
Him: hi......
Me: What's up?
Him: nothin.....

And then that's where it ends. I can never think of anything else to say. I think if I say something, I'll just make a complete fool of myself.

I cry even thinking about it. I just want him to notice me. At least like, say hi in the morning. To laugh at my jokes again, like he used to. To notice I'm alive.

And believe me, I did confront him. At the end of the school year, beginning of summer, I messaged him on AIM asking him what was going on, and all he said was, 'You stopped talking to me'. HELLOOOO? I TALK TO YOU ALL THE TIME. He even apologized, but it's obvious that he hasn't changed. To him, I'm probably still 'the girl in his class'.

And I just want to know what I did.

What I did to make him hate me and ignore me so much.

Maybe he was just freaked out by the attention. While guys are wonderfully oblivious, he probably realized that you like him and he doesn't want that. So, he flirts with girls, ignores you, etc etc to try to convince you to back off. I suggest you go do your own thing until he realizes what he is doing to your somewhat friendship, but even then you should cool it on the messaging him all the time and trying to engage him because that is freaking him out.

And, I can't edit my last post, so I'll just post this here:
I did tell him I like him. That was last year though, and more obvious then this year.

Also, today in computers we were getting along. Wellll, I at least think we were. He was pretty much asking me for help and kept looking at my computer when he needed help.

And I caught him staring at me today in Law.

As the day came to a happy end, I found out who he liked. -_- A couple of my classmates (well, the 'popular' people), started this stupid random club thing and Philip was begging this girl, Victoria to join. But whatever.

I have pretty much the exact same thing going on..
He's been in every one of my classes since kindergarten and i've practically always liked him.We always used to talk and pretty much hang out in grades 5,6 and seven(there was even talk that he liked me then),but near the end of grade 7,it seemed like he started to back off a bit,and now in grade 8,we barely talk.I don't know what it is but I think with guys,their friends get in the way.The guys in my class are a GREAT example,together they act like animals.But alone they're completely normal,know what I mean?Maybe he wants to talk more with just you
and maybe that's why he ignores you when you're talking in groups?(Just guessing Here!)

P.S.The "extremely popular"(at least they think they are -.-) girls in my class/grade do the same thing with him and the other guys,flirt like crazy in front of everyone because they know that they like them.So annoying..

If you have a birthday party or some get to gether invite him. He may think that your closer to him then you think he is. What about planning some good jokes. If it keeps on happening, just move on.
