Problems on Nov 13 -

As you know we are working to increase the capacity and battle the problem of the database server. Nov 13 we had a big issue with adding additional storage, in short our database server caught fire while we were trying to add more drives.
We had to immediately switch it of, and it took us almost 4 hours to find a replacement server and bring everythign back online. I am very sorry for this downtime, but we really need to extend the space on the drives and we were operating it according to the manufacturer specs. The server was replaced with a much more powerful box, but space on drives is still limited, we are working with the manufacturer to find a solution.

That's gotta smart, the whole catching on fire thing. O_O I hope no one was hurt during that.

And I didn't notice anything. I could have been at school or asleep. Hopefully the new one won't catch fire, too.
