New Doll....My Pride Knows No Bounds.

Wow. I think I've been dolling for about...a month? and it's really fun. But obviously since I'm so new to it, I'm not very good yet. This doll, though...I'm so proud! The shading and the hair and the clothes....*squee*!

So obviously my arrogant and show-offy self must parade this wonder in front of all your faces. But in order to do that I must stop gushing.

*Ahem*

No, she's not an alien. It's meant to be sort of futuristic fashion (the stuff sticking up off of her head is her hair, not ears!).
And I know it's definitely not as cool as some stuff other more experienced dollers on here can do, but compared to the rest of my attempts at dolling - this is amazing.

I think it's very beautiful.
You might want to provide base credit before someone looses their patience.. uhm it kind of looks pillow-y shaded, so try to work on folds and stuff. And the skirt thing that's light-aqua, it's a bit stiff so work on your dress folds. Uhm and next time don't trace around the outline completely around the clothes. I usually only follow the outline around the bust unless the shirt is very VERY tight. And those have plenty of folds..
Overall I think it's gorgeous.

It's supposed to look tight, really, I was going for the whole 'in the future everybody wears colorful spandex' thing. And her skirt is supposed to be stiff because it has hard plastic-y things in the seams to make in look that way...like that's the fashion then. Her hair is defying gravity because of...super-strength hair gel. Guess I could've done a better job of showing that that's how it's supposed to be...=/. I'm in the process of making another doll right now, though, so hopefully it'll look better this time around. ^.^

Yeah, the other doll didn't turn out so good, I deleted it. But, I found this other doll I made that I forgot to post here. The pants are gross, but I like it overall.

The second one is adorable, great work on her outfit!
Maybe you could a little bit more contrast to your shading...other than that, these dolls are excellent!
