Post maturing early - 09-05-2007, 10:22 PM

it seems more and more grls r maturing early these days. i heard about a SIX year old who got her period. i started maturing at the age of 7. i had a 34A cup by the time i was 8. then when i turned 10 i had all the signs of my period and had to wait till i was 11. i got my period this july for the 1st time
i remember being picked on when i was younger. once i remember a teacher saying on the 1st day of 4th grade 'sweetie 5th grade is down the hall'.
has any one else experianced this?

it might be true but i dont think a six year old could have a period, but maybe.
she might have been lying or something. (no offence)

i got my period at 11 to and its really not that young i think twelve is about the average age but everyone is different. and there is nothing wrong with big b.oobs. trust me i was a B when i was twelve and im a C now (wich isnt to big) i like looking older than i am and i dont think looking older and maturing physicaly when your younger is a abd thing

Jab, it's physically impossible for a six year old to get her period unless she had something wrong with her metabolic clock, in which case she'd be a wizened old hag on the outside by the time she's ten. -__-

And the news gets things wrong. Don't constantly rely on what you hear or see. -__-

There's just been a few cases of 6 year olds or younger getting periods and Wolfie is right; it's a physical disorder that would cause them to be old hags at age 10 and possibly dead by age 15.

Read this: Urban Legends Reference Pages: Youngest Mother This is the only case of a small child menstruating for another reason; I've searched for recent news items and found nothing. So unless you can produce a link, I'll have to assume you'e either lying or mistaken.

Actually, I read something somewhere(can't think where right now) that because of the better nutrition of women and girls today, they are beginning to mature earlier and earlier. I think 6 is a little of a long shot at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised at the rate the age is dropping.

About 9 or 10 maybe, but not 6. And you definitely won't have finished puberty by age 10, unless you have that disorder. It doesn't finish til you're in your 20s I think.

*nods* Twenties is what I heard, too.

I've always looked my age, I guess. I have the body on a short 18 year old, maybe, and the face of a 15 year old. Average them out, and it's close to my real age. ^^

At 6? I've never heard that... I've heard of seven a couple times, though...

Yep, that's right kiddies. All Twilight characters are made of cardboard. -_-
