do you agree with double standards of dating

ex:
a guy sleeps with several women, he's a pimp
a women sleeps with several men, she's a hood rat

girl on girl is HOT
guy on guy is repulsive

guys want to have three-sums and it's ok, 1guy+2girls
girls want to have a three-sum and it's dirty, 1grl+2guys

parents give their sons more freedom than their daughters

- so what the heck? it strikes me as odd... but how does society in the U.S. find that ok???

they pretty much ran low on double standards in japan yay!

double standards still exist strongly though and sometimes it annoys me cause when i know a guy's been sleeping around, everyone thinks he's sooo cool but in my eyes, he's no better than the girls that sleep around

but do you think people are right to go by double standards??

i can understand how parents don't want their daughter having a baby at a young age, but it's different in social groups- especially when you get into college :-\

That Japan rule is really messed up. But anywhoo about the thread I think double standards are stupid. Does anyone realise(sp?) that in alot of them the guys get the fair advantage and the girls get looked down upon?

I think double standards are so stupid, like at my school a boy that does "something" (meaning as far as they can go with someone without getting caught)with a girl they are cool and looked up to by other boys but then the girl gets thrown off on as being a sl*t or wh*re!

What the...? Just stay locked up in your room, blinds closed, locked in your closet, reading pretty fairy books about happy princesses that found their true love? And our society is so messed up double standards are used. The majority of people actually agree with them, because you have to follow them to be popular. I hate them, but unfortunately, they will always be there.
