Evelyn was right to be fearful of Jude. He knew when he was nourished, but he got off on watching a human's body go limp, that final breath, the look on a human's face before they died. He truly didn't care for human life as anything more than for sustenance. Jude had been human at one point, but being in the Revolutionary war had made him emotionless toward death before he had even been turned.
Jude was waiting for Regan in the main hall.
