Kris and Diane were both staring at the city with some trepidation, and the former was already sketching the skyline in another page. Diane's jaw simply dropped open as her mind began to imagine the machines required to build such tall buildings.
Kayte looked up from the patient she was performing a physical on. "Killie, go tell Infri there's people at the gate!"
"He probably already heard it, bozo." The taller blond just chuckled and finished the blood pressure test, nodding. "Well, whatever it is making you faint, it's probably something you're eating," she added.
"Agreed." Kayte reset the stethoscope around her neck and smiled at him. "Get on out of here, we've got people to trade with."
High dive into frozen waves where the past comes back to life. Fight fear for the selfish pain;
It was worth it every time. Hold still right before we crash 'cause we both know how this ends.
A clock ticks 'til it breaks your glass and I drown in you again,
'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need. Chasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why!
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?
