I've never been cast as the "villan" per se, but I have been cast as an overbearing mother...twice, actually. Let's see...General Cartwright in Guys n Dolls when I was 11, Evangeline Harcourt in Anything Goes when I was 13, The Queen in Cinderella when I was 14, Logainne Schwarzandgrubeneirre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee my senior year (which was double cast and I ended up only getting to perform for one night because of a blizzard that cancelled our performance on what was supposed to be opening night), aaaand...I got to be Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible the fall of my senior year...you know, the cold, matronly wife who John Proctor cheats on xD
